I was wondering where we are today ?

New England , USA

And on a totally different note , a link about cool new things in space , not GD space , but space , space ( spam ) . I am a space nut ( caramel ).

http://networkedblogs.com/5ZVvZ

Skip through the ad crap in first 30' .
This is mostly about the amazing new space craft being tested now ; but when he strays into politics ( briefly ) , he goes after all of them .

Fort Collins, Colorado - 50 feet east of NE corner of College and Laurel
- in front of the Cheba Hut joint -

Aggie Theatre is a few blocks north on College Ave. Bands that have played there in the past year include Dark Star Orhestra, Jerry Garcia Band, Béla Fleck, and many more. "BP is BS" has been displayed at the top of Aggie Theatre's marquee for over 2 months. I am very proud of this. Please support our local business establishments next time you come visit us. Fuck the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce! It's disneyland here!

Used to live in Fort Fun, but don't recall the interesting artwork. It's been a long time. Don't recall a Cheba Hut, either ... or, um, the medical dispensaries. Things do change.

JOTS, I shouldn't share this, but you ARE in Wasilla, and I do hope it brightens your day. As it happens, we're in the process of moving to Kathmandu, Nepal. And in Nepali, it just so happens that "Palin" is the feminine form of FU. More accurately, "F Her."

The US election must have been a great deal of fun for Nepali newscasters. It may well be similar in Hindi, since the languages are closely related, which would mean that hundreds of millions of people laugh their heads every time she's on the news.

I hope you enjoy Wasilla. It must be An Experience.

well I like to think I'm in Palmer as I'm really in between the too even though my addy is Wasilla. Yes it's beautiful where I live and there aren't as many uptight restrictions as there are in Anchorage. But Wasilla does have a white trash reputation that isn't all together untrue.

Love the Palin info I will be sure to share that thanks!

Thanks, The first day ( the 15th ) , was a bitch ., even with vicodin . Sill hurt a little ( getting out of bed and a chair has to be though out carefully ), as expected , but this is a MINOR surgery, my hats off to those with more serious medical issues ( and pain) . I see the doc Monday , hopefully all is ok .
Most people have less post/surgery pain than I did ( my luck !), but that pain is nothing compared to the pain, so I am told, of not dealing with the hernia and it getting pinched .

An unidentified virus put me in bed for a few weeks and left me fatigued for a few more. Only beginning to start to feel like myself again this week although still trying to conserve my energy as much as possible. Last week I worked a bit and ended up back in bed for two days. The good news is that I lost a bunch of weight in the process and I think I can now justify another attempt and downing a Porn Dog at Porter.

Wow! Well, now I join the throngs of forumites wishing you continued recovery. Hope your liver's in good enough shape to handle return trip to the Porter. I'm tolerating running and biking again after my foot injury and will be riding off some pounds between now and the MS Bike ride in September. I'm not to be described as one who can afford extra calorie intake just yet.
